EP088 Wastenot Farms: Using Worms to Recycle Food Waste with Jocelyn Molyneux

Jocelyn Molyneux is the Founder of Wastenot Farms, a company that uses red wiggler worms to recycle and compost food and paper waste from offices in Toronto, creating a nutrient-loaded soil booster for urban gardeners. Jocelyn has worked for companies such as ZooShare Biogas Co-operative, Pride Toronto, and Turtle Island Recycling Corporation. She has an M.A.Sc. in Environmental Science and Management, a Bachelor of Business Administration Management and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Neuroscience from Bishop’s University.

 

Jocelyn joins me today to share her motivations and the experiences that led to creating a business. She highlights how she became a specialist in her field and how vital it was for her success. She describes how a full-time job supported her while developing her business. She also shares how important it is to invest in yourself and consider whether financial risks are worth taking.
